Recently, I changed to a plant based diet. I read that liquid smoke added to vegetarian dishes would help to give me back that taste that i'm so accustomed to. This has a really good flavor. I use it to marinate tofu, add it to vegetarian stews, even add it to green beans. It's a really nice way to get that bacon taste into things. A little goes a long way. This big bottle lasts forever in a non commercial kitchen. I would guess that due to the intense flavor it would go pretty far in a commercial kitchen as well.
